Mentoring is about coming together and caring for others. Mentors come from different backgrounds so they don’t know each other but after time a relationship can develop. Mentoring means a lot to me. It’s changed my life. I met Mr. Jason and he made me into a better person. Our relationship has gotten stronger year by year. Mr. Jason is like a father figure to me.
From Jason: My mentee, Janovah, has changed my life. It’s really disingenuous to call him my mentee, because the reality is, he’s one of my most thoughtful, generous and loyal friends. We’ve been together for several years, and I’ve loved to see his greatest strength, his warmth and his tremendous heart, continue to grow and develop.
