One of the reasons that I wanted to mentor was because I knew that I would get exposed to new things and new experiences that I wouldn’t have otherwise. I think that being a mentor is just as much for me as my mentee.
One of the reasons that I wanted to mentor was because I knew that I would get exposed to new things and new experiences that I wouldn’t have otherwise. I think that being a mentor is just as much for me as my mentee, and so I think this is the first of many things that Nile will suggest we do that I have not probably done otherwise, and it’s a good thing. It’s not what I was expecting, I didn’t know what it was going to be exactly, it ended up being serving which is always a great thing. Mentoring is going great. Nile soaks up a lot of knowledge, he asks great questions, he really cares, wants to learn and be better and it’s a great relationship to be able to develop with him and point him in the right direction, and learn from him at the same time as he’s learning from me.
