One person at a time, the DC Dream Center inspires youth and adults to dare to dream, equipping them to reach their God-given potential.
One of the reasons that I wanted to mentor was because I knew that I would get exposed to new things and new experiences that I wouldn’t have otherwise. I think that being a mentor is just as much for me as my mentee.
For so long when I was at my lowest point Rachel would be the person who would rescue me from that and say “now you’re going to do this”, and it would be so much better and more helpful.

Posted @withregram • @careerexposurecamp 🚀 The 2024 Career Exposure Camp was a blast! From August 5-9, we had an exciting week with our middle school students, introducing them to the worlds of architecture, construction, media, communications, entrepreneurship, and real estate.
We also focused on life balance, with sessions on vision boards, budgeting, and stress management. A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers and partner organizations for providing invaluable insights and hands-on experiences. 🙌

We had an amazing time at the two @wabadc Bike Camps this summer!! Exploring trails in the surrounding area, learning bike safety, bike maintenance, visiting local destinations, fixing a flat and even building a bike(!)—it was a time of learning, fun, and lots of new memories! Thank you @wabadc!!
