One person at a time, the DC Dream Center inspires youth and adults to dare to dream,
equipping them to live life, and live it to the full.
One of the reasons that I wanted to mentor was because I knew that I would get exposed to new things and new experiences that I wouldn’t have otherwise. I think that being a mentor is just as much for me as my mentee.
For so long when I was at my lowest point Rachel would be the person who would rescue me from that and say “now you’re going to do this”, and it would be so much better and more helpful.
Such a blessing to have a team from @threeriverschristianschool serve with us again, and we’re so grateful for all their hard work! They transformed our attic space, rearranged and purged items in the basement and at the Dream Center, served a member of our community and with our ministry partners at Urban Outreach. Thank you!!

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing mentors! We recently gathered for our annual All-Mentor meeting, a special time of celebration, sharing, and encouragement. During the meeting, we were honored to hear from Ken Howard, a licensed marriage and family therapist, who shared profound insights on the trauma and challenges of secure attachment.
At present, we have 40 mentors meeting monthly with their mentees, and we couldn’t be more thankful for each one of them. Their commitment and dedication to the growth and well-being of their mentees make a lasting impact.

🎄💫 Merry Christmas!! We are so thankful to everyone who partnered with us to bring joy to children at the Dream Center this Christmas. 500 children received toys for Christmas through Santa’s Toy Shop!
The gym at the Dream Center was transformed into Santa’s workshop where new toys are set up for families to receive free toys, so children who may not otherwise receive anything have something to unwrap.
We wish you and your loved ones a wonderful, peaceful holiday as we celebrate the birth of the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ!
🎄🎅🤶 We had an amazing time at our children’s Christmas party! From photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus to arts and crafts, face painting, balloon art, a hot cocoa bar, awesome dance and music performances, and so much more—it was a time full of festive fun!
